Mini MAC Haul

Morning everyone! So yesterday in the post I received this parcel from Selfridges (Yay!) and I was so excited to open it! The reason why I bought these 4 items from Selfridges was because I bought a lipstick from the Shop MAC Collection, which isn't available on the MAC website yet. Although I wasn't at all impressed with the £5 standard delivery charge!! But never mind. In fact, James bought these for me which I was very happy about! :)

So the lipstick from Shop MAC was in shade Naughty Saute, the other lipstick is Please Me.

The first Lipglass is in Pink Lemonade (it's gorgeous!) and the second one is Nymphette.

I will be swatching and reviewing these soon :) Have a great day xxx

AllSaints Wishlist!

Hey :) So today I thought I'd share with you my AllSaints wishlist, and I'm sure most of you are aware that AllSaints is sadly in the higher end of clothing brands! But nevertheless I still love them. Below is the photos of my most wanted items and I hope you enjoy reading and share your love for the amazing items!! http://www.allsaints.com/
1.) Native Dress - AllSaints almost always have a dress in this style for every season and I think they keep getting better and better! I absolutely love the embellishment all over the garment and it truly is stunning, the only downside to it is that it's fairly heavy, but I guess that's what you get for wearing a dress like this! For a whopping £295 I think It's fair to say I'll be sadly waiting a while for this baby :(

2.) Titan Vest - I currently have 2 of the AllSaints silk racer vests and they are my favourite pieces of clothing in my wardrobe! They are so comfy and flatter any body shape tremendously. The way it just floats there is so nice, downfall to that is that when it's windy you will most likely give everyone a flash (yes that has happened a few times - awkward). The thing that attracts me most to this vest is probably the dark colours. - £85.

3.) Skull De Jouy Racer Vest - Not that I know what that means??? Ha oh well. Once again this is the exact same cut and style as the Titan vest which is awesome, the reason why I'd like this top is because I don't have a white one! Would be nice to mix and match - if only! This is also £85.

4.) Newaz Skirt - This skirt is the same sort of theme as the Native Dress, as these designs are very tribal... but gorgeous! However much I love this skirt I will say that there is a massive downer to it... If you are like me and have those annoying love handles then this skirt could turn into an extreme wardrobe disaster! As it's meant to sit on the hips (perfect if you are all skin and bones) but the slighest little bit of tub on your side can make you look larger than you are :( and at the price of £175, is it really worth it?

Glam Nails!!!

Hey everyone, I'm quite excited to show you these nails I created! I know they aren't perfect by any means but admittedly it was my first attempt so I thought I'd show you guys :) Unfortunately the pink doesn't look as pretty as it does in person, my camera really didn't like it!! I used 2 different cameras to take the pictures so that's why the colours may look slightly off :)

Below are some pictures of what I used. The round thing is a chart of diffierent coloured gems, unfortunately I don't know where these are from as I got them as a gift a few Christmases ago! But I'm sure you can get them at any sort of craft shop. The OPI nail polishes from L-R were colours Pink Of Hearts, Alpine Snow, Need Sunglasses?, You're A Pisa Work, Fly and then Nail Envy Original as a base coat.

How to:

1.) Prep your nails as usual, make sure cuticles are pushed back, nice and neatly.
2.) Apply whichever base coat you like, I used OPI Nail Envy Original.
3.) Tip out the gems onto the table and make sure they are gem side up (they are flat on the other side) as it is a pain to turn them over when your nails are wet.
4.) Apply a really thick coat of polish onto the nail and immediately start applying the gems. I used my fingers as I found it was the easiest way for me. I started applying them at the top of the nail, working down the sides and then into the middle.
5.) You're done! I guess you could put a top coat on to secure the gems even more but I didn't want to risk it possibly making the gems look cloudy. It took me about 30 minutes per hand, a long time but so worth it!

I hope you all have fun recreating this look and I'd love to see what you come up with!! :) lots of love xx

OPI Comet Loves Cupid

Happy Valentines Day everyone!! I hope you all have a great day :) What better nail polish to start it off than OPI's Comet Loves Cupid... This is such a rich red, although the photo captured a bit of orange undertones, but it's less like that in person.

Such a great colour and I will be wearing this later when my amazing boyfriend takes me out for a meal (yes he squealed about taking me out for dinner - what a muppet!) but I am nevertheless excited :) I hope you all have good plans, it's not just a special day if you're not with someone, have fun on your own - paint your nails! Ha :) best wishes xxx

Miss Sporty Studio Lash Mascara

Miss Sporty Studio Lash Mascara Review

Hey :) So the weekend is now over... But that doesn't matter for me as my job hunt is still going :( I have my weekend work but in comparison to working 7 days a week like I used to :( Oh well, here's some mascara! I got this in a stocking from my parents for Christmas and all honesty I wasn't that eager to try it.. But I'm glad my ignorance didn't get the best of me so I tried this out yesterday afternoon.

The brush is a typical hard plastic wand with longer bristles and shorter bristles. I only used 1 coat in the photo shown. When I was first applying it I wasn't very impressed, but I guess with every new mascara you have to get used to it before it works it's magic! It doesn't take too long to dry but not ages so that's good if you did want to apply another coat.

I was 100% impressed once I tried this and I'm glad it was put in my stocking! Haha. At a staggering £3.49 at Boots it is a fantastic buy! I would probably recommend this for someone with thicker lashes wanting more length and a bit of volume. As you can see in the photo, I have quite sparse lashes but I still think it works great! Go get it - it's a bargain!! xx

OPI Dulce De Leche

Hey everyone. So I know there are so many swatches and reviews on this shade of OPI but I thought I'd show you anyway! I'd say it's a very warm nude brown with pinkey tones in it, I wouldn't say it's a complete 'nude' though.

As I have a fairly pale skin tone I think it would possibly suit more of a darker skin tone, either way I still think it looks pretty good!

I believe I've captured the right colours in the photo as it looks like what is on my nails right now ha. I only needed 2 thick coats to get this amount of coverage, which I was surprised at as I thought I'd need a lot more. :) XX

OPI Metallic 4 Life

Hey everyone :) so I was painting my nails this colour (from the Nicki Minaj Collection) yesterday afternoon, I was on my 3rd coat and then I get called saying that I have a job interview tomorrow, which obviously is great news but that means bye bye black nail polish! It was fair to say I was annoyed haha but instead of wearing Metallic 4 Life I used OPI Dulce De Leche which I will be showing you tomorrow :)

So I used 3 coats to achieve this look but you only really need to use 2 coats to achieve full a full coverage on the nail without it being a grey colour. I was surprised how Metallic 4 Life turned out as I thought the silver glitter pieces would be over ridden by the black base colour, but no no no my dear friends, it looks lovely! I've worn this colour once before and it does stay on the nail for a solid few days, possibly because of the glitter? It is was surprisingly easy to remove seeing as I usually dread taking off glitter polish!

Overall I am very impressed and it's definitely a beaut to my collection :)

MAC Creme Cup Lipstick

Hey, just a quick post for today! This lipstick is in Creme Cup by MAC, all of their lipsticks retail at £13.50 and I can't wait to stock up on some more ha.

This is one of MAC's best sellers as it's a beautiful light pink (but not too Barbie!) and is described as a 'Light Blue Pink' which I guess is true! I think the colour looks a lot darker when it's in the tube but on the lips it looks gorg :) I'd use this as an everyday lipstick but it would also look glam with a night out smokey eye!                                                           A lot of people compare Creme Cup to MAC's other lipstick 'Angel' but unfortunately I can't do a comparison as I don't have that one :/ Have a great day everyone! :)

MAC Studio Finish Concealer

MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW15 - Before & After

Mornaaan everyone :) Today's post is going to be on MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW15! It comes in a small pot (7g / 24 US OZ) whatever that means haha. I think this is the lightest colour that you can get but they have a variety of many so there will definitely be one there for you.

I use this mostly on my eye lids around my eyes above my rosy cheeks! It's creamy but has a thick consistency, and I find that it can be a little drying on my skin once I put powder over the top of it, but that might just be my skin type! (Combination). I don't put it over spots either as that is also drying :(

Enough of the bad comments! I do really like this concealer and I would recommend it, possibly not for someone who has quite dry skin as I don't find it very moisturising. It does give good coverage but I'd suggest to use a good moisturiser/primer before hand :)
